Dan, tebak tadi gue nemu apa.... Yes! Adam Young Interview about Enchanted song! Interview itu berlangsung di sebuah radio, dan gue suka banget sama interviewer-nya. Pinter ngomong dan mancing Adam! Itu ceritanya keluar semua.
Ini isi percakapannya;
Awalnya, si Wally (interviewer) nanya-nanya #PickOne gitu, jadi si Adam suruh milih salah satu dari kata yang disebutin Wally, dia harus milih mana yang dia suka, atau dia banget.
Wally: Church Kid or Problem Teenager?
Adam: Church Kid.
Wally: Spinager or Sourpatch Kid?
Adam: Sourpatch Kid.
Wally: Free live or Insomniac?
Adam: Insomniac.
Wally: Ok, finally, Taylor Swift or Taylor Hanson?
Adam: Taylor Swift.
Wally: I got it boy, I got it boy. And we're going to discuss that cause you're my new man or my hero. And, we gonna discuss a little thing about Taylor Swift wth my man Adam Young A.K.A Owl City, after this.

Wally: Now, you're kind of a guy Taylor Swift IN A WAY. And, I heard, she's write a song, obviously, of meeting you.
Adam: That's correct, yeah.
Wally: Enchanted?
Adam: Enchanted, yeah. It's a beautiful song.
Wally: Yeah, you says it's a beautiful song, cuz it's about you. I can hear you say, "It's a beautiful song cuz it's about ME!" (immitating Adam), "What a beautiful song, she ever writen!"
Then everybody say, "What song Adam?"
And then you say, "Cause IT'S ABOUT ME!"
Adam: *chuckles*
Wally: So how it started?
Adam: She and I met at my show, at NYC. She was on the town and came to my show. She's a wonderful person.
Wally: So this song, Enchanted, she says she was enchanting to meet you. Across the room, and you guys kind of connected from the very first page. Was she dating anyone at the time?
Adam: Not at the time.
Wally: Nice. You have a deal, my bro.
Adam: Wish were.
Wally: And I heard that you record a song for her, kinda reply of her song.
Adam: Na, it was Enchanted song. It was basically cover of her song with a few word I want to sing back to her.
Wally: Yeah, and I know this from my daughter which is Taylor Swift's fan, that Taylor capitalized letters in her album for game "Message Behing The Song", and in Enchanted, the story of the song is A-D-A-M. Adam! I'm like, no way man, that's cool!
Adam: Yeah, it was a crazy moment. I'm bought her record, and I was searching the words too.
Wally: I believe you just like, "Please marry me, please marry me"
Adam: *chuckles*
Wally: Do you think, and honestly, cause she doesn't trust people around but you? You should say Yes.
Adam: I can say, YES. Maybe yeah...
Wally: I like this, and I will help you with this. Make a great story, bro!
Selanjutnya, mereka main game lagi. Jadi si Adam harus jawab kata apa yang berhubungan sama yang diucapin Wally. Dan jawabannya harus berhubungan sama kehidupan dia.
Wally: Ok, first, Mother?
Adam: Dog.
Wally: What a bad boy.
Adam: Its because my Mom have a yorkshier terrier.
Wally: Meatloaf?
Adam: Dad. My Dad loves Meatloaf.
Wally: Skinny jeans?
Adam: Swimming pool.
Wally: Really?
Adam: Yeah, I love to swim with skinny jeans. So if you see a guy swimming with skinny jeans. It's me. It's only me.
Wally: Ok, it's really you. Next, Unicorn?
Adam: Rainbow.
Wally: I was thinking it too. You and I are more similar than I thought. Allright, Owl?
Adam: Alligator.
Wally: Allright, ahh, Love?
Adam: Cupcakes.
Wally: Ok, why?
Adam: Because I give cupcakes for everybody in Valentine's Day.
Wally: You have a girlfriend?
Adam: I don't! (Sumpah, ini dia ngomongnya tegas dan lantang banget)
Wally: Wo-ho-ho, Taylor Swift! You gonna make that happen! You gonna make that happen.
Adam: *chuckles*
Wally: Ok, finally, we're on the end. Taylor?
Adam: Ehmm... HEART! *chuckles*
Wally: What is wrong with you? I thought you'll say Swift! What is wrong with you? Why you can be that obvious brave? Ok, we'll send this interview to her, people. I won't judge you because we are same to say Rainbow responses of Unicorn which make me absolutely love you.

CDM: What went through your mind the very first time you heard Taylor Swift’s song ‘Enchanted’?
ADAM: <laughs> I just remember smiling and thinking ”Wow!” and feeling very honoured. It’s such a beautiful song. I remember feeling kind of like… something that we had that was very much part of our friendship was suddenly shared with the rest of the world - and not feeling like cheated or anything like that, but - just feeling like WOW it’s such an honour that somebody like her would treasure our friendship and relationship that we had enough, to put it out there. It’s a very charming and sweet song.
CDM: And Taylor’s named her debut signature fragrance after you as well… ‘Wonderstruck’!
ADAM: Yes… it’s very cool! I remember e-mailing back and forth with her and I remember saying that… the first time I met her I wrote her an e-mail because I was very shy and not very eloquent and I remember writing and saying: ”I’m sorry I was so quiet, but I was kind of wonderstruck when I met you.” And I remember her writing back and saying: ”You’re the first person I’ve ever heard use that word, it’s a very pretty word.” And here we are! <laughs>
“…she never actually did respond. I was never really expecting to hear a response per se, but it was a fun thing to do. I think she’s such a sweet girl…she’s so gorgeous and so exquisite and so eloquent it was so hard to come up with the right words. And now that I step back and look around at who else is out there, she’s really the only one who comes to mind.”
